Chook’s Story

Since 2018, Chook’s founders, Adam Schlegel and Alex Seidel have been serving some delicious chicken dishes around the Denver area. All the chicken served at Chook is cooked over a charcoal grille, which gives it an unforgettable taste.

Adam and Alex take pride in making food that’s not only delicious but clean and fresh. All of the chicken used at Chook is locally sourced. Aside from chicken, every menu item contains no artificial ingredients or preservatives, and a majority of the produce used in their cooking is also from local farmers.

The team at Chook is not only mindful of their food but also of the materials they use at their establishment. They try their best to keep things out of the landfill by composting and recycling when possible. Plus, they use recyclable materials!

This environmentally friendly chicken eatery serves up dishes to suit all palates. Check out this sneak peek at some popular items you may find on their current menu: 
 

• Pulled Chicken—Pulled rotisserie chicken, using both dark and white meat
   
• Chicken Salad—Pulled rotisserie chicken, garlic aioli, pistachios, and dried cherries
   
• Beets & Berries Salad—Grilled beets, blueberries, sweet potato, delicata squash, dried cherries, charred kale and romaine, mixed greens, spiced nuts and seeds, served with balsamic Dijon vinaigrette
   
• Avocado Chicken Sandwich—Pulled rotisserie chicken, avocado, cucumbers, cilantro, skyr-lime dressing, served on grilled sourdough bread
   
• Chicken BLAT—House-made chicken salad, romaine, avocado, sliced tomato, bacon slabs, served on toasted Fudmill sesame roll

While a majority of their menu items star chicken, they also whip up some tasty sides, such as their Chook Chips, which are organic Colorado potato chips tossed in Chook Chicken Salt.
