McDonald VW made getting into a car super easy, which means, I have a new debt. Ha! Albeit a fun one to drive. Tanner was super helpful and attentive. I was able to get him to come down $1 on my payments and he hooked it up with a bomb Italian Sandwich from their deli. When my lease is up on this one I definitely plan to give him a call and get him to help me on the next one.

Just to be clear, the overall treatment I've received from the dealership and its service department over the last 9 years (2 new vehicles) has always been good. However, I've just brought my 2018 VW Tiguan home after a complete engine/turbo replacement (covered under warranty). The parts came in quickly and I was informed of the progress. What was sort of disconcerting was that after asking, I was never given an explanation for why I needed a new engine (at 43k miles) and what warranties I was afforded for the new engine and parts.
Daniel is the MAN! from the moment i arrived, Daniel kept me informed of what was going on and answered all my questions. i will be using McDonald for all my Taos service.
My family has purchased two new cars from this dealership and the experience has been great for both. In addition experience with the service department was very pleasant as well.
My car had broken down over the weekend while visiting friends. They were very helpful and they were able to get my car in and treated the same day in this emergency situation.
Efficient service. Clearly communicated the services to be provided. No surpises, and completed in reasonable amount of time.
Chris did a good job of handling a difficult situation with my car. It took about a month to get me into a loaner but once I got one he kept me in one for the next 7 months.
Doug and Team did an excellent job with service on my vehicle. They met my requests and expectations, and had a lower cost than expected in the beginning estimate. The people who helped us, especially our sales associate, were very kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. My only reasons for not giving a 5 star rating are the following: (1) We were not told until the very end of the sale that the car was not available to take home that afternoon, which was disappointing to not know earlier in the process but okay; so (2), we made arrangements to pick up the car on Monday morning at 9 am and we adjusted our work schedules accordingly; then (3), on Monday morning at about 8:30 am while we were walking out the door to pick up the car, we received a text message that the car would not be available until 11 am at the earliest, which we could not make work; so, we scheduled to have the car dropped off at noon at our home. We received the car as planned but the car did not have the charging cable with it. We were told the cable would be dropped off at our home about 7 pm but we never heard from anyone despite several texts asking for an update. We received a text the following day saying it was dropped off late morning.
We had to request to request our paperwork PDF multiple times and received it via email several days later.
The people were so helpful and kind AND we love our car. It was just a lack of communication that made our experience frustrating at times.
