Speaking from my experience as an Asian immigrant, while the salesman and service advisor were kind, the Finance Manager’s tone and attitude toward me were completely arrogant. I am in no way inferior to him, so why look down on me? To make matters worse, a warning light came on in my new car from day one, and I am still waiting for an email from corporate regarding a fix or update on this issue. Honestly, I deeply regret buying a brand new car here with cash.

McDonald VW made getting into a car super easy, which means, I have a new debt. Ha! Albeit a fun one to drive. Tanner was super helpful and attentive. I was able to get him to come down $1 on my payments and he hooked it up with a bomb Italian Sandwich from their deli. When my lease is up on this one I definitely plan to give him a call and get him to help me on the next one.

My car had broken down over the weekend while visiting friends. They were very helpful and they were able to get my car in and treated the same day in this emergency situation.

I was very pleased with the efficiency and the communication with Doug on my appointment. I do prefer the previous arrangement with Uber for transportation to and from appointments. Sometimes trying to coordinate with the dealer and the family on transportation can be a little difficult. I was so happy they were able to start right away on my car and didn't have to keep it overnight.

Stephen was very efficient when he checked in my car for preventive maintenance. He was knowledgeable about the servicing of my car and answered all my questions.
Generally, I have always been thoroughly satisfied with the customer experience delivered by the McDonald Volkswagen service team. Stephen has handled most of my scheduled maintenance requests, and he is a true asset to the organization. I'm always able to get my car in at or before 7:00 am, and they've almost always had their assessment of the necessary repairs in my hands within 2 hours or less. Nobody loves the expense of having an older car maintenanced --mine is 10 years old -- but my history at McDonald has been better than any other.

I had been researching a pre-owned vehicle for about 2 months, had test drove 2 versions of the Mini Cooper, and eventually decided on buying the Countryman S All 4. I put a few search alerts in place for the features I was interested in and sat back and waited... but not too long. After only a week, I found a match at McDonald Volkswagon.
I scheduled an appointment using their online tools and got a personal response within minutes. When we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted by Zach and 3 hours later drove away with our new car.
The entire process was very relaxed, Zach is easy going and really made the purchase seem fun. The rest folks at McDonald VW went out of their way to make sure that we were enjoying the experience and happy with our car, including hand delivery of fresh baked cookies, if tasty, sweet treats are your thing.
I would recommend the dealership and Zach if you are looking to buy a car.
Side note: I would suggest taking a hard look at the warranty contract, not just the summary, if it is offered, and make sure you bring a checklist of "Things to Think About" when you go. It is easy to get caught-up in the moment and forget weird things like luggage rack keys, spare tires, etc.

Service on my older 2011 VW GTI was outstanding. Explanations were given throughout the process, efforts were made to keep the costs down given age and value of the car. Doug managed this process exceedingly well.
