Speaking from my experience as an Asian immigrant, while the salesman and service advisor were kind, the Finance Manager’s tone and attitude toward me were completely arrogant. I am in no way inferior to him, so why look down on me? To make matters worse, a warning light came on in my new car from day one, and I am still waiting for an email from corporate regarding a fix or update on this issue. Honestly, I deeply regret buying a brand new car here with cash.

McDonald VW made getting into a car super easy, which means, I have a new debt. Ha! Albeit a fun one to drive. Tanner was super helpful and attentive. I was able to get him to come down $1 on my payments and he hooked it up with a bomb Italian Sandwich from their deli. When my lease is up on this one I definitely plan to give him a call and get him to help me on the next one.

Just to be clear, the overall treatment I've received from the dealership and its service department over the last 9 years (2 new vehicles) has always been good. However, I've just brought my 2018 VW Tiguan home after a complete engine/turbo replacement (covered under warranty). The parts came in quickly and I was informed of the progress. What was sort of disconcerting was that after asking, I was never given an explanation for why I needed a new engine (at 43k miles) and what warranties I was afforded for the new engine and parts.
Daniel is the MAN! from the moment i arrived, Daniel kept me informed of what was going on and answered all my questions. i will be using McDonald for all my Taos service.
My family has purchased two new cars from this dealership and the experience has been great for both. In addition experience with the service department was very pleasant as well.
My car had broken down over the weekend while visiting friends. They were very helpful and they were able to get my car in and treated the same day in this emergency situation.

Chris did a good job of handling a difficult situation with my car. It took about a month to get me into a loaner but once I got one he kept me in one for the next 7 months.
