We recently moved from Tennessee and had to take our Volkswagen in for service. The folks at McDonald Volkswagen were amazing and far superior to any of the dealerships we encountered in Tennessee. They were very thorough with their overview of our vehicle and provided excellent recommendations as far as how certain issues should be addressed. We would highly recommend them and will certainly be back!

We purchased our first Atlas from McDonald/Spencer and had such a great experience that we didn’t hesitate to return when we were ready for another vehicle. We spotted an ID.4 online that caught our eye and emailed Spencer on a Sunday evening. By Monday morning, he had responded, and after a few quick conversations, we were driving off the lot with our new ID.4 that very afternoon. Our Salesperson Tanner, did an amazing job of helping us and taking care of us every step of the way. Even with a rambunctious 2 year old in tow. The service team was great, the experience was smooth and they were able to fix all recall items and general service in a very timely manner. Parts and Services did seem a bit pricey but that is to be expected with OEM products.

Coupon for the oil change was a good price. The regular, non-coupon price is too high. It was easy to get an appointment.

Just to be clear, the overall treatment I've received from the dealership and its service department over the last 9 years (2 new vehicles) has always been good. However, I've just brought my 2018 VW Tiguan home after a complete engine/turbo replacement (covered under warranty). The parts came in quickly and I was informed of the progress. What was sort of disconcerting was that after asking, I was never given an explanation for why I needed a new engine (at 43k miles) and what warranties I was afforded for the new engine and parts.

Doug and Team did an excellent job with service on my vehicle. They met my requests and expectations, and had a lower cost than expected in the beginning estimate. They went above and beyond with test driving and cleaning the underneath of the vehicle. Thank you Eric and the team for making this happen.

Doug was an absolute pleasure to work with through the entire process. He was able to help me make use of my CPO Warranty and get my car driving the way it should be! Consistent and accurate follow ups regarding any changes or updates to my vehicle status. I will be returning to work with Doug again.

Chris was so helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns about my car! This was my first time at McDonald, since I usually go to Emich, but was unable to get an appointment, however, Chris got me in right away and the experience was far better than I’ve ever experienced at Emich, so I will definitely be coming back!

The people who helped us, especially our sales associate, were very kind, knowledgeable, and responsive. My only reasons for not giving a 5 star rating are the following: (1) We were not told until the very end of the sale that the car was not available to take home that afternoon, which was disappointing to not know earlier in the process but okay; so (2), we made arrangements to pick up the car on Monday morning at 9 am and we adjusted our work schedules accordingly; then (3), on Monday morning at about 8:30 am while we were walking out the door to pick up the car, we received a text message that the car would not be available until 11 am at the earliest, which we could not make work; so, we scheduled to have the car dropped off at noon at our home. We received the car as planned but the car did not have the charging cable with it. We were told the cable would be dropped off at our home about 7 pm but we never heard from anyone despite several texts asking for an update. We received a text the following day saying it was dropped off late morning. We had to request to request our paperwork PDF multiple times and received it via email several days later. The people were so helpful and kind AND we love our car. It was just a lack of communication that made our experience frustrating at times.

No complaints. Doug was excellent from the moment I dropped off my car until it was picked up.

Great service, as always. My appointment for the repair of a tire leaking air was made immediately. Since my schedule could not accommodate the 7:00 AM appointment the next day, the dealership had me bring the car in the afternoon before and informed me that the vehicle would be ready by noontime that day. When I arrived at noon, the car was ready to go and the paper work was ready. Overall, Stephen has been my service advisor for several years, and the service has always been excellent. I give him a full 5 Stars for this service as well as all prior services over the years of my experience with McDonald VW.

Daniel was very professional and courteous. The waiting area was nice and they have a small deli. They also have fresh coffee and drinks for free.

When I submitted an email saying I was interested in a used car at McDonald Volkswagen, Chris T. sent me an email with a personalized video that put such a big smile on my face! 😄 He made our car buying experience low stress and low pressure. Chris went above and beyond. Overall, a great experience.

If you’re hesitating to take your older VW in, don’t hesitate, you’ll be treated like you just bought a brand new car and while the hourly rate may be higher than typical shops… they just know what they’re doing and know their way around VWs in a way most of the big box stores don’t. I had been researching a pre-owned vehicle for about 2 months, had test drove 2 versions of the Mini Cooper, and eventually decided on buying the Countryman S All 4. I put a few search alerts in place for the features I was interested in and sat back and waited... but not too long. After only a week, I found a match at McDonald Volkswagen. I scheduled an appointment using their online tools and got a personal response within minutes. When we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted by Zach and 3 hours later drove away with our new car. The entire process was very relaxed, Zach is easy going and really made the purchase seem fun. The rest folks at McDonald Volkswagen went out of their way to make sure that we were enjoying the experience and happy with our car, including hand delivery of fresh baked cookies, if tasty, sweet treats are your thing, thanks Rod. I would recommend the dealership and Zach if you are looking to buy a car. Side note: I would suggest taking a hard look at the warranty contract, not just the summary, if it is offered, and make sure you bring a checklist of "Things to Think About" when you go. It is easy to get caught-up in the moment and forget weird things like luggage rack keys, spare tires, etc.

This may sound weird but I love when it’s time to take my VW Tiguan into Mcdonald Volkswagen. The service and sales staff is always welcoming and provides the utmost care and information regarding your vehicle. Doug from services is very friendly and keeps you updated with potential repairs and gives an honest diagnosis. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the wait time is a little on the long side but what can you expect when great service is provided, everyone comes here 😊.
