Speaking from my experience as an Asian immigrant, while the salesman and service advisor were kind, the Finance Manager’s tone and attitude toward me were completely arrogant. I am in no way inferior to him, so why look down on me? McDonald VW made getting into a car super easy, which means, I have a new debt. Ha! Albeit a fun one to drive. Tanner was super helpful and attentive. Just to be clear, the overall treatment I've received from the dealership and its service department over the last 9 years (2 new vehicles) has always been good. However, I've just brought my 2018 VW Tiguan home after a complete engine/turbo replacement (covered under warranty). The parts came in quickly and I was informed of the progress. What was sort of disconcerting was that after asking, I was never given an explanation for why I needed a new engine (at 43k miles) and what warranties I was afforded for the new engine and parts.
